Work Areas
- Validate next generation 77GHz automotive radar chips on system level
- Measurement and characterization of RF device under test (DUT) over various use cases, onsite in Munich RF lab
- Collect and structure measurement result data, and populate report templates
- Build and bring-up HW/SW-in-the-loop test benches
- Develop, tailor, maintain an debug test scripts for test automation
- Build and debug SW for (multicore) embedded devices
Required Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience
- Practical experience with setup and configuration of HW/SW test systems (DUT) and with
RF measurement instrumentation (spectrum analyzer, oscilloscope, freq multiplier, VNA, …) - Practical experience with coding (adapting and tailoring) and debugging of firmware (ARM M7 and A53) using Lauterbach/Trace32 (C, C++) for robustness validation of multi-core ICs
- Basic understanding of analog and digital hardware elements and circuits (SNR, amplifiers, SI/PI, logic elements, BER, link budget, etc.)
- Develop, tailor, debug and maintain test scripts for automated test sequence execution in MATLAB, measurements, data collection and report generation and script release (GIT)
- Improve and extend existing scripts covering error reporting and handling
- IT infrastructure setup for radar test bench (computer platform, compiler, bus interfaces, …)
- Knowledge of functional safety concepts and standards (e. g. ISO 26262) is a plus
- Background and basic understanding in RF/GHz domain and electromagnetics is a plus
- Experience with radar target simulators and mmWave circuit boards is a plus
- Soldering skills
