British Council Women in STEM Scholarships 2024-2025 fully funded

Spread the love

Are you a woman holding a bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject and passionate about your studies? There’s an exciting opportunity for you to receive a scholarship for pursuing a master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics at a leading UK university. The British Council, in partnership with UK universities, is launching the fourth edition of its global Women in STEM scholarship program.

Why a scholarship program?

UNESCO data reveals that less than 30% of the world’s researchers are women, and only 30% of female students choose STEM-related fields in higher education. Enrollments of female students in Information and Communications Technology, natural science, mathematics, and engineering are particularly low. Increasing the representation of women in STEM can lead to better scientific and financial outcomes, enhance workforce diversity, and bring a variety of perspectives and ideas to organizations
